Our Spirituality eldership is under the leadership of John Wotherspoon
"I was privileged to be raised in a committed Christian family, building a strong foundation of faith to which I have always been gently returned and restored, even after my most determined efforts to stray from the path! Growing up in Masvingo, Zimbabwe, my first real experiences of the Holy Spirit at work came through attending Sunday evening services, which, due to lack of numbers, were forced to be interdenominational. This helped to cement my ongoing conviction that God always responds most powerfully to situations that create unity within His Church.
St Agnes has been my spiritual home since 1989, and although there have been many changes over the years (not to mention a prolonged absence on my part!), I have always had a very special sense of belonging here.
My driving passion is to see the advance of the Kingdom of God radically impacting lives and situations, especially outside the safe environment of the Church family. For this season, my personal spiritual growth is focused in the areas of teaching, prophesy and healing."

Holy Spirit & Renewal
Holy Spirit Ministry is offered after every service by trained teams. This is not a counselling ministry session, but an opportunity for people to receive from our Lord, into whatever He might have “touched” during the service, in conviction, in adoration, or identification of bondage.
Holy Spirit Ministry therefore facilitates what He has already begun and the “ministers” recognize and operate under the scripture of John 5:19 where we model our Lord. “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son does in like manner.”
If you wish to be a part of this simple yet powerful ministry please contact Dennis or Lorna Steyn on 083 306 3549 or e-mail denlorna@telkomsa.net.
Training and placement within a group would be the first step.
Prayer
The Prayer Portfolio encourages each and every member of the St Agnes family to join in as we, individually and together, grow our ability to communicate with our awesome God.
Please join us at the Parish Prayer Meeting on the first Monday of each month, or get involved with one of the Pastoral Care prayer teams as they provide sheltering prayer for people and happenings within our parish. This is especially important as our Year of Mission initiative results in increasing numbers of newcomers and events that need to be covered by prayer.
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus". Phil 4:4-7
